KRAM Van

Yikes, it's been a long time since I have updated this. Sorry. Look for me driving the KRAM van on Friday afternoon, October 5, in the Montevideo Homecoming parade. It's starts at 5:00. See you there.

By the way, Main Street Monday, went on the air on September 30, 2006. Happy Birthday to the show.

Upcoming show

We're going to dust off a few CDs from the 70s in the upcoming Main Street Monday. Of course since the songs of the 70s came in the form of vinyl LPs, cassette tapes and 8 tracks, the dusting is a little more difficult. Listen for artists such as Elton John, Loggins and Messina, Carly Simon and others.

Of course we won't forget the great hits of today. Corbin may stop in for a movie review. We'll talk about tidbits of the day and perhaps a history of a song or two. After all Main Street Monday is all about the music. Tune in.

Monday's show

Main Street Monday extends a half hour this Monday. Now you can truly spend the evening with Main Street Monday from 6:30-10:00.

Do you know the story behind Scenes From An Italian Restaurant by Billy Joel? Tune in on Monday and find out.

Have a great Labor Day weekend.

New music

New music has been added to the KRAM playlist and Main Street Monday.

Amy Winehouse has been in the news the last few days. This week we added Rehab. Personally I like You Know I'm No Good better, but what am I to say.

Also added:
Grace Potter and the Nocturnal Ah Mary
Paul McCartney Dance Tonight
A Fine Frenzy Almost Lover

We added How Long by the Eagles. Great song--so glad to hear from them again. Also added was The Perfect Crime#9 by The Decembrists. I liked Oh Valencia better, but this track is okay.

That's it for the adds. Have a great week. Keep cool and enjoy the last few days of meteorological summer.

Monday's show

Corbin will be returning Monday with another movie review. Also look for some new music including the Eagles new single, "How Long". It's definitely a throw back to their old songs. I hope you like it. It was the number one song last week to be added nationwide on Triple A stations.

In the next few weeks look for Main Street Monday to go on the road to a locale near you. Stay tuned.

Home again

I am home from Chicago. It was a long and tiring drive home, but we made it. I listened to some of the radio stations while in Chicago. All the songs that I heard being played on the air have been on KRAM for quite some time. We certainly are ahead of major radio stations.

It's great to be back..

Off to Chicago

Well, it's off to Chicago for a few days vacation. In the interim please listen to John Mayer, "Dreaming With A Broken Heart". It's from the CD, "Continuum". It's a great new song. Also continue to listen to Styx, "Everything All the Time". It's the definite Styx sound from the 80s. It's flying up the charts. Look for the video to be uploaded on this site very soon. Have a great few days and I'll be back soon.
